Call me crazy, but if you’re trying to advertise online for a yard sale in the coming weeks, chances are your ad will be buried beneath a heap of scalper and want ads for Washington Nationals playoff tickets.
Skip the online ad all together, and post your yard sale information to the comment thread here. You will be seen by our friendly neighbors, many of whom are in search of some great fall finds and treasures.
And for the scalpers among us, be forewarned: Resale of Nationals tickets are prohibited by both the Nationals and D.C. law and could result in arrest or prosecution.
