This weekend marks a monumental event, or at least a fairly exciting one for many.  St. Patrick’s Day will land on a Saturday.

While not a legal holiday, the fact that this year’s Irish celebrations will take place on Saturday means we can all pretend like it is one…with day drinking!  (Not to mention still have a full day to recover before heading back to work on Monday)

Oh St. Patrick’s Day, the one day each year where wearing an excessive amount of the color green is completely acceptable, if not encouraged.  It also means that bars and pubs across the city will be celebrating with drink/food specials, contests and parties all day long.  What could be better than sporting green and consuming copious amounts of beer and Irish Whiskey (on special) right here on the Hill?

In consideration for those of you who are looking to arrange the best St. Patrick’s Day Bar Crawl ever, or for those of you who are just looking for the best place on the Hill to drink your annual car bomb; below is a comprehensive review of the specials and events on Capitol Hill this March 17th.  Hope to see you all there!
