I can’t believe it’s finally happening! The Kingsman Field Dogpark will open its gates tonight at 5pm, and will remain open tonight and every night until 10pm (starting tomorrow, the park will be open daily at 7am).
Several Hill Hounds Steering Committee members will be on hand to answer questions about the park and welcome you and your pup to this great addition to our neighborhood.
In a few weeks, there will be an official Grand Opening celebration where you can get your pup registered with the city and get his/her dog park tag. We’ll be sure to share information on upcoming events here!

Congratulations! The dog park looks wonderful. My girls have been playing soccer at Kingman for the past 4 years. It was such a lovely sight this morning to watch happy dogs visiting the spiffy new park adjacent to the playing fields. I was also happy to see trash cans inside the dog enclosure. Next step would be a trash can in the rest of the park. I’m sure it’s on the to do list. Well done, all of you who never gave up on the dog park plan!
I was so worried that the park would be too small. It’s not. It’s perfect. My pooch is having a ball there.
