Christmas Cheer (and Shopping!) at Eastern Market

The vendors at the Eastern Market Flea Market want to remind you that cold and snow will not keep them from serving your holiday shopping needs!  In addition to being out all weekend, many of the outdoor vendors will have their stands set up from 10am until 5pm every day next week.  You can find them outside of the Market on 7th Street and on North Carolina Avenue.

And to bring even more holiday cheer to the neighborhood, Eastern Market is bringing back the Holiday Wish Trees in the North Hall.  Stop by in the next week add your holiday wish.

And what better way to get into the holiday spirit than with holiday music?  On Sunday there will be live music in the North Hall from 12-6pm — a perfect break from the cold.

And that’s not all! We also hear that Santa Claus will be in the North Hall from 2-4pm! What the Hill reports that Santa bears a striking resemblance to Tommy Wells…

  2. All of the vendors will be open on Friday, or are at least scheduled to be!
