This week’s cocktail comes from the master mixologists at Wisdom. And it just happens to be the perfect pick because nothing says “I’m leaving work early” like a margarita. Since it’s from our friends at Wisdom, it has an extra dose of awesome. So, here it is, from the head bartender, the Porque Hola! (aka, “Why, hello” en mal Espanol):
1.5 oz of Sauza Tequila Blanca (or your favorite white tequila…as long as it says “100% pure agave”)
0.5 oz of Guyot Creme de Cassis (or substitute Chambord)
0.5 oz of Cointreau (or your favorite orange liqueur)
0.5 oz fresh squeezed lime juice (this is a must…fresh is key!)
1.0 oz of fresh pink grapefruit
Serve on ice in a rocks glass and coat 1/2 of the outer rim with a cayenne powder/salt mix
