After the Thaw

My friends on NPR this morning were waxing about the slow approach  of spring (March 21st — less than a month away, whoohoo!) and this announcement about Tennis on the Hill seemed just the thing to inspire thoughts about taking off the ski jacket, pulling out the windbreaker and beginning to thaw out. The group met on Monday night at Christ Church, but if you’d like to put on your whites come springtime, check out their poll (it only takes a couple of minutes) and drop Eric Legg an email to express your interest: EricLegg{at}gmail{dot}com.

Thus far, Legg said by email, “we have a draft plan in place for the spring which includes 5-7 kids classes, 3-4 adult classes, an adult singles “ladder”, and a tennis social or two. We’re hoping to open registration the week of March 22 … website and online registration will be available before then.”

Also of note to you sporty types with tykes, Sports on the Hill has opened registration for spring basketball, wrestling, and indoor soccer. Click here to register.
